Graphic design was new to me being a traditional artist when I started at The Art Institute of Colorado. I soaked up everything I could. Learning every short key in every program, studying color theory, typography, entrepreneurship, and picking up different types of traditional mediums. What really intrigued me was seeing the progression of a sketch idea that then leads to final digitalization. As a graphic designer, I apply these methods to every one of my designs. Every project has its own unique story of how it was created. The path from begning to end. I feel most graphic designers should work in this method to get the look and feel of the design. I work this way, even if its the simplest of designs. This allows me to communicate more than just a design, it allow for the design speak emotion and what it is about or stands for.
