Art ran in my family, being from the southwest and of Native American heritage. Art came natural. I was traditionally trained at young age. I enjoyed art and it gave me a way to express myself. I always saw things different. Differently in a sense that I didn’t just look at an object, I looked at it with ideas of how it can look different. I drove myself to reach out and put those ideas on paper, canvas, or anything I could draw or paint on. It took me years to learn my style and develop it. It wasn’t until I High School I started to realize my capabilities and wanted to make it career and apply it in a way no other has. While in art class we had a special presentation from the representatives from the Art Institute of Colorado. It was then I discovered that I can take my passion of art and apply it to a career in graphic design.
